ETHEL BIDDLE Peacefully, on Monday, July 5, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital, Ethel, widow of the late Arthur James, passed away at the age of 89 years. Ethel is survived by her son Ron Biddle and many nephews and nieces in Vancouver. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur James; parents, Jim McCreedy and Helen McCreedy; brother Jim McCreedy; sisters-in-law, Florence Biddle and Gladys McCreedy; and mother-in-law Anne Biddle. Ethel worked for 15 years at Eatons in the cosmetics department and was an avid five pin bowler most of her life. She was still bowling in two leagues until her time of death. Thanks to Dr. Angus McGowan and the nurses at Victoria Hospital for all their care and compassion. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 10, at 2:00 p.m. at John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy. with Reverend Bob Haverluck officiating.
