He will also be missed by his only sister Agnes Rewucki (Ed) and brother-in-law Arthur Oliver (Doris). Len was in the Air Force during the Second World War from 1943-1945. He then returned to civilian life after the war and worked with his father who owned and operated Osbornes Bakery. Len re-enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 and became an instructor on the CF-100 jets. He then left the service in 1958 as a Squadron Leader to return once again to civilian life. He was a volunteer with Search and Rescue for a number of years. Len coped with Parkinson disease for 19 years. He had many caring people from Home Care who helped him in his daily life, particularly Dusty. We thank you all. Lens disease progressed to the point that his loving wife Violet was not able to manage caring for him. Len spent the last three years of this life at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home. We thank ALL of the staff for your caring, your humour, and your professionalism with Dad especially Betty-Jean who seemed to know what was needed by Dad on the final part of his journey through this life.
