WINNIFRED ENGLISH 1923 - 2004 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Win English on Monday, June 28, 2004 at her home. She is predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd English in 1991. Win will be lovingly remembered by Bev (Jim) Cooper with Jeff and Shannon; Ken (Deb) English with Chris, Carley and Sidney. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Peg Hay and Doreen Murphy, as well as her extended family and many friends. Win worked at Air Canada for over 16 years which established her great love of travel to various parts of the world. Different cultures and beautiful landscapes were a rewarding experience. She was an avid volunteer in her community and enjoyed such groups as The Wrens and the McKinnon Guild. She was also a lifetime member at the Thistle Curling Club. Private family service has taken place. Flowers are greatly declined, donations in Wins name may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
