Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) LEWIS McINTOSH BROWN William (Bill) Lewis McIntosh Brown died peacefully at Grace Hospital on July 10, 2004. Bill is survived by his sister Alice Evelyn Snyder of Charleston, IN, and nieces and nephews. Bill was born August 14, 1919 in Gilbert Plains, MB and was raised in Grandview, later moving with his family to Winnipeg. For many years Bill helped his dad run the Red & White Store on Queen Street in St. James. Later, he worked for Goth Industries until he took early retirement to care for his aging and ailing parents. Bill enjoyed golfing, bowling, curling and visiting with friends. He was a wonderful son to his parents and devoted and loving brother to his sister. Bill was truly a gentleman in the best sense of the word. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. James Anglican Church on Collegiate Street. Flowers are gratefully declined. A donation to the St. James Anglican Church or to the Ashbury Place Senior Centre would be appreciated.
