FREDERIC) Apres de longues annees de souffrances acceptees avec grande serenite, Alice sest laissee emporter dans les bras de Dieu le 10 juillet 2004 a lage de 92 ans dont 67 de vie religieuse chez les Missionnaires Oblates de St-Boniface. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa communaute religieuse, son frere Fernand et son epouse Yvonne Boulet, son frere Jean et son epouse Yolande Millier, sa soeur Cecile, sjnm, son frere Rene et son epouse Ann Lesyk, son frere Ernest, deux belles-soeurs Lina et Ann, un beau-frere Alcide Labossiere puis un grand nombre de neveux et nieces ainsi que plusieurs ami.e.s. Son pere, Frederic Paquin etait natif de St-Jude, QC, et sa mere Olivine Bibeau etait native de Ste-Victoire, QC. Le couple vint setablir a St-Boniface, MB, et fit cadeau a notre monde de 21 enfants; Alice en etait la sixieme. Durant ses 67 ans de vie religieuse elle fut affectee surtout comme directrice de nos residences et etablissements. Son mot de passe etait amour et nombreux sont les temoignages qui appuient ce symbole dont elle etait la vivante realite. Elle etait tres genereuse, accueillante et elle avait foi en Dieu et les autres. Les prieres auront lieu mercredi, le 14 juillet 2004, a 14 h 00 en la chapelle des Missionnaires Oblates au 601 rue Aulneau. Les funerailles suivront au meme endroit a 14 h 30. Le Pere Albert Bouffard, omi, presidera la celebration. Linhumation aura lieu vendredi le 16 juillet 2004 a 10 h 00 au cimetiere de la rue Archibald, a St-Boniface. SISTER ALICE PAQUIN (S. ST. FREDERIC) After many years of suffering which she accepted with great serenity, Alice left us on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at the age of 92. She entered the congregation of the Missionary Oblate Sisters of St. Boniface and pronounced her first vows 67 years ago. She leaves to grieve her passing her religious Community, her brother Fernand and Yvonne (Boulet) her brother Jean and Yolande (Millier) her sister Cecile, sjnm; her brother Rene and Ann (Lesyk) her brother Ernest; two sisters-in-law, Lina and Ann; a brother-in-law Alcide Labossiere; numerous nephews and nieces and countless friends. Her father, Frederic Paquin was born in St. Jude, QC and her mother, Olivine Bibeau was from Ste-Victoire, QC. The couple came to Manitoba and settled in St. Boniface and gifted our world with 21 children of which Alice is the sixth. During her 67 years of religious life she was mainly in charge of our residences and director at the Residential Schools. Her password was love and there are many testimonies of those who were touched by her gentleness and kindness. She had a strong faith in God. Prayers will be recited on Wednesday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Missionary Oblate Sisters, 601 Aulneau St. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the same address. Fr. Albert Bouffard, omi, will preside the celebration. Interment will take place on Friday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the cemetery on Archibald Street. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
