NORMAN HUDSON 1927 - 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brave and strong husband, father and grandfather on July 14, 2004. Norman passed peacefully where he wanted to be; at home with his family by his side. He will be sadly missed by Valerie, his wife and life-long friend of 59 years; as well, his children, Alan (Liz), Gina, Linda (Bill), Amanda (Tom) and grandchildren, Laura, Amie, Darren, Stephanie and Sarah; sisters, Anne and Olga. Norman was predeceased by his son Roly; grandson Jeremy and sister Kay. Norman enjoyed 25 years in his work as a superintendent in construction. Norm and Val travelled often to B.C to visit family where Norm loved to fish with Jim. One of his greatest and simplest pleasures, in his retirement, was his home and yard enjoying family and the company of neighbours. With much gratitude the family would like to thank Dr. Vincent Taraska of Victoria Hospital. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9. A memorial to be held at the Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17.
