BLANCHE MOLLOT (nee ARNAL) Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at the Grace General Hospital, Blanche Mollot, widow of Jean Baptiste (John) Mollot, passed away at the age of 90 years, formerly of Brandon and Fannystelle, MB. Blanche was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Jean Baptiste (John) in December 1989; brothers, Armand 1918, Aime 1955, Ernest 1993, Lawrence 2001, Albert 1994, and sister-in-law Alice 2003. Blanche was born in Fannystelle on April 22, 1914 and attended the Castagnier rural school, then finished her schooling at the St. Josephs Academy, St. Boniface. She married Jean Baptiste (John) Mollot on November 10, 1937, where they continued operating the Mollot Garage in addition to other enterprises. Blanche operated the Squeeze In Restaurant and drove a school bus. Blanche was a devoted mother to their three sons and took great pride in homemaking. During the 50s to 70s Blanche really enjoyed travel to Cuba, Mexico, Florida and California. Later, on her own, Blanche enjoyed organized bus tours to Alaska and Europe. Blanche is survived by her three sons and families, Vic and Lucille, grandchildren, Monique and Ralf, with great-grandchildren, Natalie and Clarissa, grandchildren, Marc and Shelley with great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Chloe; son Claude and LaVerne, grandchildren, Michelle and Corbin with great-grandchildren, Reece and Kennedy; son Martin and Judy with children, Nicole and fiance Stephan, Kim and Ryan and Claire. Blanche is also survived by sister-in-law Marie Arnal (Ernest), Yvette Arnal (Laurent) and her aunt Mme. Therese Roy. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for their kindness and care and everyone for their support and prayers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Parish, Assiniboia Christian Centre, 3390 Portage Ave. with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. presiding with co-celebrant Rev. L. Dumont, O.M.I.. The service will terminate at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Blanche to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Stn Main, Winnipeg, MB. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
