Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLAN SEPTIMUS HODGSON October 1, 1939 - July 14, 2004 A celebration of life get-together for Allan Septimus Hodgson of Hodgson, MB will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 1:00 p.m. and the MMF Hall, Hodgson, MB. Allan leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Carol; their children, Ronald Jody (Lynette) Larson, Roberta Joan (Pierre) Bisson; his former wife Margaret (Peggy) Thomas; their children, Lance (Ruth Ann), Lynn (Jackie), David (Kathy) and Coleen (Fred) his grandchildren, Akila, Amanda, Amber, Nathashia, Christine, Matthew, Joshua, Luke, Jovan, Daniel, Alanna, Michelle, Brandon and Shaelynn. Allan leaves behind, his cherished mother Louise Hodgson (Asham) his two brothers, Harry (Doris) and Pete (a lifesaver) his sister Sandra (Harold) he also leaves many, many friends, too many to mention, but I have to mention the two Carolines that he was like a father figure or brother to. Allan led an interesting life and had many different jobs, such as working in bush camps, digging basements, Kelly North in Winnipeg and Thompson, winter roads, doing cleanouts with Bob Rasmuson and working in Manigotagon with Wisnomski of Beausejour. On April 17, 1982 Allan married Carol (Burdett) and he then started his own furniture business making daycare furnishings. In 1988 he and Carol moved back to home in Hodgson where he built a 30 x 50 shop. Allan bought into heavy equipment again and worked for himself and rented equipment to different contractors. He was really looking forward to retirement on October 1st and his first OAS cheque in November. "Mr. G." - Til we meet again. Eternally yours - K".
