Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLADYS SINGBEIL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished mother Gladys Singbeil on Thursday, July 15, 2004, at the Beausejour Hospital. Heavens gates opened and Dad was waiting for her. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband John; her infant son Elden; her parents Melvin Obie and Linda Obie; her brothers, Vernon Obie and Norman Obie; and her sister Aldeane Swedick. Mom spent most of her life raising her family and later helping raise her grandchildren. She helped Dad with running their mixed farm operation. She always made sure that all visitors were well fed when they stopped in. She was a caring and giving person, with a grand sense of humour. She wasnt scared of sharing her thoughts when she meant business. She leaves to mourn her children, Larry (Sandy), Dallas (George), Norma (Allan), Garland (Kathy), Bonnie (Kelly) her grandchildren, Kassy (Kevin), Colleen (Rick), Josh, Trevor (Mary), Tracey (Matthew), Bryna (Stephen), Shannon (Keith), Ken, Amber, Erin, Cole, Owen, Dylan and Hailie; 11 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Irene (Irvin) Fuerst, Lyla (Brian) Ancel; her brothers, Arvid (Janette) Obie, Orlin (Myrtle) Obie; sisters-in-law, Martha Obie and Joyce Obie. We would like to thank Dr. J. Bracken and nursing staff of the St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. N. VanRensburg and nursing staff of the Beausejour Hospital for all of the care they gave to Mom. On behalf of Mom and her children, we also would like to express our deepest gratitude to Uncle Orlie and Aunty Myrtle for all of their love, support and help. This will never go unforgotten, we love you. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, with Rev. Don Reimer officiating.
