WAYNE COOKE It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our father Wayne Cooke. He leaves behind his children, Terri and Henri Gosselin, Jodi and Clint Fenelon, Susan and Tom MacKay, Kyle and Mylene Cooke; his grandchildren, Sara, Victoria, Raelene and Haley Gosselin, Jordan Cooke Fenelon, Kaitlyn and Joshua MacKay, as well as numerous foster children. He also leaves his former spouse Lynda (Cooke) Pitt, his loving sister Brenda Beaudry and brother Barry Cooke, nieces and nephews. His close friend Paul Viallet will sadly miss him. Wayne was an extremely kind and generous man who made numerous friends wherever he went, Grand Marais, Ile-des-Chenes and St. Vital. Always lending a helping hand, with his tool belt never too far away. He loved family get-togethers, and rarely missed a chance to party. His laughter and good humour will remain will us all. Our dad lived life the way he wanted, enjoying nature with all who knew him. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 566 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0G7 or to the Variety Club of Manitoba, PO Box 794 Stn.
