MARION GIBSON (WHELON) (DILWORTH) (nee STABLER) It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother on July 16, 2004 at the age of 86. Marion leaves to cherish her memory her husband John; children, Barry (Brigit) Hawkins, Fred (Janice) Hawkins, Diane (Dennis) Dreikluft, Joanne (Eric) Thompson, Doreen (George) Szor, Gerry (Ed) Siwicki, Donna (Ken) Simm, and Rick (Pam) Gibson; brother Roy Stabler; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Essel; and husbands Ken Whelon and Art Dilworth. The family would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia Health Centre for their compassionate care as well as the tenants of Fairmont Woods. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 1:00 p.m., at St. Lukes Zion Lutheran Church, 2903 McPhillips St., with Pastor Paul Gehrs officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. We are heartbroken because you are gone, but we are happy we had you to love for as long as we did.
