Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE HOOTON November 13, 1932- July 1, 2004 Olive died on July 1, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Olive will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother Eugene Paquette; her brothers, Raymond, Armand, Donat and Randy; her sisters, Vilma and Lu; her sons, Andrew, John and Darryl (Preston) and her grandchildren, Joshua, Aaron, Jennifer, Leah and James. Her husband John E. R. Hooton predeceased Olive. Olive will be remembered for her beauty inside and out, for the love she shared, the guidance she offered and the strength she demonstrated in such abundance. Olive loved her sons dearly, and the loss they feel is profound. Mother, you nurtured us as babies, guided and protected us as children, endured us as teenagers and supported us as adults. Though your body became frail, your spirit remained strong, your love unwavering, your counsel astute and your support complete. Thank you so much for being our mother - may God care for you as you did for us. All of us, your friends and family, will truly miss you. We were not ready to let you go. A private funeral and memorial was held on July 7, presided over by Olives brother, Pastor Randy Paquette. A letter of appreciation was read by Olives sister, Vilma Ambrose, and hymns were selected by her brother, Raymond Paquette. A special thank you to them.
