NETTIE (ANASTATIA) PRYSAZNIUK Peacefully, on July 15, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre, Mom passed away at the age of 89. Nettie was born in Ledwyn, Manitoba, on January 2, 1915. She was the last surviving child of Andrew and Anna Boyko. Nettie was predeceased by her husband, Steve; her daughter Eleanor; her parents, four brothers and three sisters. In her early years she lived in Bissett, Manitoba, where she and Steve raised their family. She enjoyed playing baseball and curling. Her garden and flowers were her pride and joy. In 1960, they moved to Winnipeg. She was an excellent cook and no one ever left her place hungry. She also enjoyed her bingo and her card games. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Iris (Ernie) Lindgren, Vicky (Gary) Hunter, one son Harold (Valerie) Prysazniuk, and special friends George and Mary Arndt. Her love is shown in her grandchildren Randi (Dennis), A.J. (Kristina), Michele (Tim), Nicole, Stacy (Mike), Grant (Gerry), Tara, Brian (Lacey), Richard (Melanie) and Curtis. Great Grandma was very proud of her eight great-grandchildren with number nine arriving soon. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and doctors on the 3rd floor of the Health Sciences Centre. Prayers will be held on Sunday, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 19, at 10:00 a.m., also at Cropo Funeral Chapel, with Fr. Gerry Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society.
