ROSE YARMARKO The family announces the passing of their beloved Aunt Rose on July 3, 2004 at the age of 106. Her clear mind and good humour will be greatly missed. Rose was born in Uman, Russia in 1897 and immigrated to Winnipeg as a child with her family in 1906. She graduated from St. Johns Tec and had a long career as a legal secretary both in Winnipeg and with the federal government in Ottawa during the Second World War years. Rose is survived by her devoted nephew Irwin Shwortz of Winnipeg and by nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Israel. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Sharon Home and especially her devoted companions Teresa, Preny, Priscilla, Maggie and Jenny. A graveside service and interment was held on July 5 at the Shaary Zedek Memorial Park.
