BRUCE LYLE Suddenly on Friday, July 16, 2004, Bruce Lyle beloved husband of Mae Lyle of Carman passed away at the age of 70 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Dale (Rhonda) of Portage, Ed (Mary-Anne) of Morden, and Kevin (Tayne) of Winnipeg, and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Larry (Doreen) and two sisters, Fern (Brian) Swift, and Shirley (Larry) Bluhm; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Prior to retirement in 1992, Bruce was the Town Administrator of Carman and worked for many years in municipal work, including Winnipeg. In his retirement years, he was very active in many community groups and enjoyed travelling and socializing with family and friends. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church on Monday, July 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood cemetery, Carman, Manitoba. Memorial donations may be made to the Carman Active Living Centre of a charity of ones choice.
