ANNIE STRILESKI Peacefully, on July 16, 2004 Annie Strileski, beloved mother, Baba and Great-Baba passed away at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital. Mom is survived by her daughter Marcie Foster and son Leonard (Paulette) Sicinski; grandchildren, Nadine, Jim (Lisa), Dayna, Leah (Sean), Ryan (Jan) and Chad (Sharisse) great-grandchildren, Dallas, Dylon, Jesse and Ariana; along with many nieces and nephews. Mom is survived by her sister Jean Willis and her brother Don (Brenda) Skorupski. Mom was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Sicinski, her second husband Walter Strileski in 2000 and her son-in-law Murray Foster in 2002. She was born on October 26, 1918 to Mary and John Skorupski. Mom and Dad farmed the family farm until 1984 when they retired and moved to Selkirk. Mom was known for her big vegetable gardens, her baking, sewing and knitting. We all have keepsakes of Moms hard working hands. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank two special homecare girls, Charlene Balcaen and Marj Labelle. Also, the nurses at the SDGH and the nurses at the Teulon Hospital for being so compassionate and understanding to us and for looking after Mom so professionally and lovingly in her final days. Thank you to Pastor Glen from Stonewall for your prayers and staying with us at a very difficult time. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, MB ROC 3BO or to the Selkirk Palliative Care Unit, Box 5000 100 Easton Dr., Selkirk, MB R1A 2M2. There will forever be a void in our hearts. Our lives will never be the same and we will always miss you Mom. You meant the world to us. We love you. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
