BEATRICE REBECCA GORDON March 12, 1925 - July 16, 2004 Beatrice Rebecca Gordon passed away peacefully into the Lords hands on July 16, 2004, at the Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her mother Clara and father Herbert Carvery, her loving husband William (Shortie), four sisters, and two brothers. Beatrice will be lovingly remembered by her only son Brian; sisters, Clara (Joe) Winston (Winnipeg), Charlotte Carvery (Winnipeg), Elizabeth Lee (Oklahoma), Eileen (John) Dumas; brothers, Herbert (Dale) Carvery (Winnipeg), Stanley (Alice) Carvery (Halifax, NS), Joe (Bernice) Carvery (Surrey, BC) granddaughter Tamara; her Aunt Bertha (Dartmouth, NS) cousin Cora (Halifax), and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Beatrice was born in Africville, NS. Her love for her family was ever so important, particularly the little children. She enjoyed her Christian relationship and many forms of music. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to express its sincerest thanks and appreciation to the caring staff of Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 41 Maple St., Winnipeg. Rev. Joseph Kibwaa officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
