LILLIAN LEBLANC (nee KLEIN) Lillian Leblanc passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years on July 16, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Harry Leblanc, mother and father Joseph and Pauline Klein and sisters Elsie, Sebina and June. Her sister Irene and brother Fred, nieces and nephews whom she cherished as her own children, as well as many relatives from the Leblanc family survive Lillian. Her life began on March 25, 1916 in Forrest, Saskatchewan. She moved to Winnipeg as a young lady, worked at the Coffee Spot Cafe and later worked as an elevator person at the Childs Building, and also filling orders for National Drug Warehouse. Then she met the love of her life, Harry, and had many good times with friends at their Bird Lake cottage. They moved to Surrey, B.C., and enjoyed many happy retirement years together, they also travelled to various parts of the country as well as the south. The family wishes to thank the wonderful service that Lillian received at the River East Personal Care Home for the past six years. Flowers greatly declined. Keep their hearts free of sorrow For me...for my sorrow, when it comes, Only lasts a moment - then its gone. And finally Lord, Please let them know how very much their visits mean, How even through this relentless mystery - I feel their love. Peace is with you dear sister and auntie Lil. We love you forever. Funeral services will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, on Wednesday, July 21 at 1:00 p.m. immediately followed by a reception.
