Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCYRIL JOSEPH LEACH Cyril Leach of Winnipeg (formerly of Riverton, MB) passed away peacefully on July 17, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Cyril was born in Berens River, MB on March 5, 1935 to the late Reginald and Kate Leach. Cyril came from a large family of six brothers and six sisters. Cyril was a miner by trade and worked in various mines across Canada. He met many people and made many friends in his career. He was unable to continue his career due to medical reasons. He was a very sentimental person with a great sense of humour. He loved children and his family was very important to him. He loved playing cards and hockey was his favourite sport especially when his brother was playing in the NHL. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Reg (Debbie) sisters, Edna, Kathleen, Dorothy (Buddy) sisters-in-law, Antonia, Doris and June. Also his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Alfred, Archie, Anthony, Richard and Rudy; his sisters, Connie, Evelyn and Joyce; sister-in-law Josephine; and brothers-in-law, Peter, Halli and Roland. Honorary pallbearers will be Reg Leach, Charles Leach, Kevin Bjornson, Warren Ostifichuk, Brian Ostifichuk, Michael DAvanti. Cyril - We love you very much and will miss you greatly. Cremation has taken place. Prayer services will be held on Wednesday, July 21 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church just south of Riverton with Pastor Michal Sauarimuthu officiating. Interment in the church yard following service. You are welcome to come for coffee following the service at the home of Buddy and Dorothy Bjornson.
