EVA SKRILIUK (SCHACH)

EVA SKRILIUK (nee SCHACH) Mom left us peacefully on July 17, 2004 at the Grace Hospital. She was born on July 26, 1908 in Ladywood, MB. Her life was one of commitment to God and family. She was one of the founding members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Kildonan. She had been a member of the CWL for 50 years. She was also the first president of St. Josephs Seniors Group. Eva had been the wife of John Hargreaves (Member of the Winnipeg Grenadiers - killed in action in Hong Kong, 1941). Eva was predeceased by her parents Mary and Phillip Schach and her five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her only son Glen (Darlene) Hargreaves; her grandchildren, John (Caroline) Hargreaves, Debbie (Dwayne) Schultz and Mike (Abby) Hargreaves. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Corey and Amanda. Thank you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa and the volunteers at Meals on Wheels. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 7:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 10:00 am at St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson, with a Redemptorist Father presiding. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice will be appreciated. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
