NEIL ECKEL Peacefully on July 18, 2004, Neil passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 80. He was predeceased by his sister Ruby. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife of 58 years, Jennett; sons, Wayne (Karen), Ron (Karen) grandchildren, Angela (Daniel), Dean, Jason (Jill), Kyla (Rob) and Jessica (Trevor) great-grandchildren, Joshua, Cody, Taylor, Chase and Rylee. Neil enjoyed a successful 41 year career with CN until his retirement. It was with his work at CN that dad enjoyed travelling and thoroughly enjoyed the many trips he and mom took together. He was also an avid walker and enjoyed his time spent at the Niakwa Golf and Country Club and spending their winters in Palm Springs. At Neils request, cremation has taken place and a private interment was held. A memorial reception will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, July 23, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
