MABEL GARN It is with great sadness that the family of Mabel Garn announces her sudden passing on July 22, 2004, at the age of 77 years. Mabel was predeceased by her husband Emil Garn 1994; her parents, Orvan Hawkins 1974 and Mary Hawkins 1977; her brother Jack Hawkins 1967; sister Dorothy Schulte 2004. She will be lovingly remembered by Fred (Sandy), Jackie Braun (Bob), Bill and David; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are seven sisters, Laura Krebs, Evelyne Simonson, Doreen Johnson, Eleanor (Doug) Vanderweyde, Joyce Davis, Viola (Fred) Wilhelm and Mary Woods; sister-in-law Agness Hawkins and numerous nieces and nephews. Mabel was full of life, she enjoyed dancing, curling, fishing and gardening. As per Moms wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mabels life will take place on Tuesday, July 27 at 2:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Donations may be made in Mabels memory to the Stonewall hospital guild.
