CHRISTOPHER CHAN November 25, 1981 - July 19, 2004 It is with unbearable sadness to announce the sudden passing of our beloved son Christopher Wai Keung Chan. A young life so full and rich was unexpectedly taken away from us on Monday, July 19, 2004. Christopher, a U of M Commerce student would have graduated this year. A devoted student with high expectations of himself but never of others, he loved life and lived it to the fullest! Chris loved to fish, camp, play basketball, music, wrestling, laugh and most of all make others laugh with his wit and humour. Full of heart, spirit, joy, kindness, compassion, generosity, consideration of others, he always gave of himself without asking for anything in return. He leaves behind his loving family; father Troy Chan, mother Rebecca Chan, sisters Alice and Veronica, brothers, Howard and Patrick, niece Tia, as well as his grandparents, uncles, aunts and his many cousins. We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. If tears could build a staircase and heartaches make a lane. We would walk the path to Heaven and bring you home again. Your memory is our keepsake from which we will never part Gentle hands and a caring soul at rest God broke our heart to prove to me, he only takes the best Sadly missed and NEVER forgotten - your family and friends. Viewing will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie with burial at Brookside Cemetery.
