HALLDORA ODDLEIFSON (nee PETERSON) Halldora, much loved wife of William Norman and mother to Kathryn (Brent) Waldie and Norman (Wendy) Oddleifson died quietly on July 9, 2004, at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. Dora was born on August 14, 1919 in Vidir, MB and lived in Arborg, MB; Atikokan, ON; and in Nanaimo and White Rock in BC. Dora was a most devoted wife and mother as well as a caring and loving grandmother to Cameron and Amanda (Voegeli) Waldie and Chris and Leah Oddleifson. Dora was predeceased by her brothers, Ragnar Lindal and Peter Peterson and her two sisters, Binna Johannesson and Thora Johannesson and her parents, Aldis and Franklin Peterson of Vidir, MB. Dora will be much missed by her loving family and her friends; her kind and supporting spirit touched all who knew her. A service will be held August 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arborg Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
