Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I too want to offer my condolences and say that I have so many fond memories of Sunny Harbour as well. My older brother use to take me and my other brother there when we were kids. He was 10 years older than me and we had so many fond memories of the place. He died at 26 from cancer and left us with these special memories. I too wish there were some photos of the place online somewhere. We were reminiscing today after our fathers funeral and I looked up Sunny Harbour. God Bless!! - Posted by: Gail (Patron) on: Jan 03, 2020

  • I just saw the obit today, but that was after looking for pictures online of Sunny Harbour. First my condolences although late go out to the entire family. Our family spent many days camping at Sunny Harbour back in the 1960’s and maybe even earlier. My mom, Fran, worked each day in Wpg, but left my older brother Gill, along with my sister, in charge of us while we enjoyed our days at Sunny Harbour. I also remember my mom saying, if you need any help then go right to the owners. We loved it there and my heart holds many memories of the lake. There also were plum trees that I ate from too! I know the first year was mud bottom but soon they put a cement bottom. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. God Bless. - Posted by: Anne (Sunny Harbour tenter) on: Feb 02, 2019
