NORMAN EDWIN BUSS May 30, 1927 - July 27, 2004 Peacefully, Tuesday, on July 27, 2004, Norman Buss of Whitemouth, entered into the presence of the Lord. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Bernice, in 2002, and a young infant brother Berthold in 1930. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children, Bonnie (Gord) Odaisky, Sharon (Hugh) Stockes, Marilyn (Lawrence) Toet, and Larry (Rosita Glufka) his grand-children, Brett and Nicola Odaisky; Charleen, Stefanie and Chase Stockes; Travis, Brittny, Megan and Shayna Toet; his sisters, Edna Anderson, Esther (Tom) Melnick; brothers, John (Joan), Roy, Ron (Sharon), Charlie (Irene) and David (Bev). As well as a sister-in-law, Bernice Cable and numerous nieces and nephews. Norman was born in Winnipeg and moved to Whitemouth at the young age of two. His family ran Trans Canada Garage in Whitemouth. In 1960 he married Bernice Cable of Transcona. They took over the family service station, which they owned and operated until his retirement in 1997. Norman also spent many years driving the school bus and volunteered for the ambulance and fire department. Norman was a quiet, soft spoken man, loving husband and father who was always willing to give a helping hand. Funeral service will be held at Ross United Church in Whitemouth, MB on Friday, July 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Anne Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Whitemouth Municipal Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the Health Care Workers in Whitemouth and at Beacon Hill Lodge in Winnipeg for the exceptional care he received during the last months of his life.
