SEAN DAVID HODGSON October 2, 1973 - July 24, 2004 Loving son, grandson, brother, partner and friend Sean was born and raised in Edmonton and Calgary, then moved to Winnipeg for 15 years. After finishing high school and completing the ICS Technical College Computer Program he returned to his beloved Calgary. Sean loved sports: marathons, soccer, baseball (slow pitch) and many more activities, where he met many wonderful friends. Sean ran his last 10K run on Sunday July 11 during the Calgary Stampede. On Saturday July 24, at the young age of 30, Seans heart suddenly stopped beating. Left to cherish his memory are his loving partner Michelle Hunter; his father Bob Hodgson (Rifa) sister Tina (Colin) grandmother Jean Hodgson; mother Maureen (Denny) Michelles family: sisters, Barb (Cooper) and Angela; parents, Jack and Marilyn; also the family of his late stepmother Marie Brooks: brothers, Ron (Ana), Bruce (Karen), Allan; and cousins, Joey, Amanda, Mitchell, Robert and Rhonda (Jason), Ronnie and Robin-Jacob; his uncle Robert (Pat) aunts, Judith (Larry), Patsy (Jim) cousins, Kathleen, Kirk and Kevin, Steve (Annette) grandmother Laura Thompson. A celebration of Seans life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 240 - 17th Ave. S.W., Calgary, AB on Thursday, July 29 at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Seans memory directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1825 Park Rd.
