JOHN DUNCAN LENDRUM Peacefully on July 28, 2004, John Duncan Lendrum passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 91 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Eleanor; his children, Catherine (Harry) Driedger, Larry (Linda) Lendrum, Marlene (Terry) Grier; his grandchildren, Terry (Patti), Brad (Shannon), Jeff (Cynthia) Driedger, Ryan, Evan (Alexis) Lendrum, Theresa Grier (Darren), Crystal Jones (Stu), Dana Grier (Clayton) his great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Wyatt Herklotz, Chase Grier, and Daman, Taylor, and Wyatt Driedger; sister Marybel (Vic) Hildsen. He was predeceased by his sister Jean and brothers, George and Murray. John was a gentle and caring man who valued his family. John enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. John and Eleanor spent many a happy hour travelling with his sister Marybel and brother-in-law Vic. He loved camping, nature and most of all a baby ice cream cone, butterscotch or caramel. John was a very positive man who wishes all well. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. A private family interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
