Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LOUISE AIRTH October 21, 1916 - July 27, 2004 We celebrate the life of Margaret Airth who passed away July 27, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Margaret was born October 19, 1916 to Sidney and Maggie Tamblyn. She was predeceased by her first husband Charles Leach; by sisters, Beatrice (Archie) Fenn; Anne (Ray) Skinner; brothers, Sidney Tamblyn and George (Shirley) Tamblyn. Left to cherish her memory are husband Roy; sons, Barry (Maxine) Leach, Cameron (Leah) Airth; Allan (friend Pam) Airth; daughters, Lori (John) Larkin; Lynne Airth; sister Dorothy (Norman) Patterson; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many Legion friends in north west Ontario. Margaret was life member of the Ladies Auxilary and 23 year associate member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 283, Ear Falls. Margaret and Roy moved to Ear Falls in 1956, built their home and have lived there since that time. Margaret was an avid curler, participating in local and provincial bonspiels. Margarets family was first and foremost in her thoughts. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grand-children. She loved camping, fishing and picking blueberries; spending many happy hours on Pakwash Lake. Her leisure time was spent making afghans for family; each one a thing of beauty. In summer her flowers received her attention to produce blooms in the sandy soil and short growing season. The hummingbirds in the May Tree were a joy to her. We thank our friends and neighbours for their support at this time. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. in Ear Falls Royal Canadian Legion. Ash interment at a later date. If friends desire, donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, suite 200 - 6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Dryden Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
