EVELYN ROSE FIELDER (nee JOHNSON) April 24, 1924 - July 23, 2004 After a short illness, Evelyn passed away peacefully on July 23, 2004. Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter Patricia (1958) and her husband Gordon (1999). She is survived by her son David (Ann), son James (Thomas), grand-children, Theresa-Ann (Todd) and Michael (Tina) and great-grandchildren Sophie, Liam and Haillie. Evelyn was born in Moore Park, Manitoba, raised in Brandon and eventually moved to Port Arthur where she and Gordon resided until moving to Winnipeg in 1990. Evelyn was deeply involved with her children and grandchildren visiting often and always taking an interest in their accomplishments. Her outgoing, caring and loving nature will be deeply missed. Evelyn was very close to her sisters, Anne, Edna, Hazel and Ethel, enjoying their company and visits. She will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She never stopped caring She never stopped giving Her helpful advice prepared us for living Her lasting affection will keep us together A Mother is love That stays with you forever A private service has been held. The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff of the Victoria General Hospital.
