Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON (DOC) HUNTER On July 29, 2004 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Gordon Elmer Hunter went to his eternal rest after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Albert and Audrey Hunter on January 29, 1930, the third of five children. He farmed all his life at Mowbray, MB, except for the periods of time when he worked on the pipeline and for the Manitoba Telephone System. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Phyllis his mother Audrey; three sisters, Evelyn Lone, Doris (Harold) Moores, Margaret Zilkey; one brother Morris (Em) Hunter; brother-in-law Herb Brown and sister-in-law Virginia Brown. He was predeceased by his father, four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7th Street in Morden, MB. Interment will follow at the Manitou Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CancerCare at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Box 2000, Main Station, Winkler, MB R6W 1H8. Doyles Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
