WILHELMINA MINTER (MINA HURREN) Peacefully on June 5, 2004, Mina passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC. Prior to her hospitalization of three weeks, she had been living independently in Sicamous, BC. Mina was predeceased by her first husband Clarence Hurren in 1966 and second husband Art Minter in 1996 and by her brother Edward Fedyshen. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kathy (Art) Dunlop of Sarnia, ON and Judy Hurren of Sicamous, BC; her grandchildren, Brant Melnbardis of Sarnia, ON and Valerie (John) Gwynne of Toronto, ON and by her two great-grandchildren, Raymond and Stephanie. Mina was employed at The Bay for many years until moving to Kitimat, BC following her second marriage. She and Art enjoyed their years of retirement in Abbotsford where they spent many hours working in their beautiful garden. They loved entertaining, especially the summer of 1986 during Expo years, when many friends and family enjoyed their hospitality. After Arts passing, Mina moved to Sicamous to be closer to her daughter Judy. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 6 at the Chapel in the Park, Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. with Rev Robert Jacob officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Minas memory to the charity of ones choice. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in care of arrangements, 885-9715.
