Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTATIANA JANICE SHILOFF January 1933 - July 2004 The clock of life is wound but once And no man or woman has the power To tell just when the hands will stop Of what day - or what hour. Now is the only time you have So live it with a will Dont wait until tomorrow For the hands may then be still. Tatiana Janice Shiloff passed peacefully on July 28, 2004 at the Grace General Hospital. Janice was a one of a kind individual. She was truly a loving, giving, caring and compassionate person. Janice was also a very strong, smart woman well ahead of her time. The door to her home and heart was always open to everyone no matter what. Her strong motherly instinct and advice was sought out by all - young and old, male and female. The knowledge and wisdom she imparted was always sincere, honest and based on the right thing to do, no matter what consequences had to be faced in the course of, or as a result of, that right thing to do. When confronted by pain, conflict or general adversity, her strength was solid and made ever firm by her faith and strong moral and ethical beliefs. Janice touched many many lives and made a difference in this world. She now moves on to a greater life with the warm loving wishes of her devoted and loving daughter Deborah; her many nieces and nephews; her adoptive son and his family - Hein and Jenny Gooi, and grandsons Dominic and Nathan Gooi; as well as an incredible circle of warm and caring lifelong friends. Deborah would like to thank the staff of 3 North at the Grace Hospital for the compassionate care shown to her Mom. She would also like to thank the friends and family that offered her and Mom much appreciated support, care and love during Janices hospital stay. At Janices request, no funeral will be held. A small private ceremony is planned upon her interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens into her final resting place with her husband Peter. In lieu of flowers, Janice requests that family and friends remember her by making a donation in her name to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
