CLARENCE (CLARE) BERNARD ZYNGER January 1, 1948 - July 8, 2004 Our father and loved one, Clarence Bernard Zynger (Dingo) was taken from us much too soon on Thursday, July 8, 2004, at the age of 56, after a valiant battle with cancer. He slipped away peacefully at his home in Salmon Arm, BC, with his family in attendance. Clare was born and educated in Neepawa, MB and worked for a number of years with Manitoba Hydro before relocating to BC. Clare was a resident of Salmon Arm for the past 8 years, however, his career with BC Hydro took him to various locations throughout the province. Clarence was a compassionate person whose personal example of a dedicated father and grandfather will provide everlasting guidance to his sons, Kyle William (Monica and granddaughters Caylin and Taylor) of Calgary, AB and Ryan Clare, of Los Angeles, CA. His journey of self discovery was an inspiration to live life to the fullest that took him down many roads on his Harley, the highlight of which was the fulfilment of his dream to do a ride from British Columbia to Newfoundland. Clarence was predeceased by his father, William. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Gladys; and sisters, Bernice, Eileen, Janice and Denise. The dedication and support from his BC Hydro family gave Clare much comfort that was also greatly appreciated by his family. A funeral service was held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Salmon Arm on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 with Fr. George LaGrange OMI celebrant and a memorial service was held in Calgary on Saturday, July 17, 2004. Donations in Clarences memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation (601 West 10th Ave., Vancouver, BC, V5Z 1L3) or to the Salvation Army (Box 505, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 4N6). We love you Daddy & Grandpa Motorcycle Arrangements in care of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, BC
