MARY PETERS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Peters of McMunn, MB on July 28, 2004 at 11:55 p.m. at the Ste. Anne Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 81 years. Mary was born at McMunn, attended school there, married Ralph Kramp in 1948. They lived in Pine Falls. Ralph passed away 18 months later. Then in 1954, Mary married Dave Peters who was in the air force and together they lived in various places - Rivers, Winnipeg, Baden Baden Germany and Gimli. He passed away and Mary moved back to McMunn. While single, Mary worked at Clean Towel Supply also at a bakery. At McMunn she worked at the McMunn Motor Inn for a while. Mary loved to have friends over for coffee and was also a great animal lover. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her three sisters, Anne (Dave) Semenko, Nell (John) Bjornson and Victoria Pastushenko; also five nieces and two nephews; plus 12 grandnieces and nephews. Besides her husbands, Mary was predeceased by mother and dad, Pelagia and Nicholas Pastushenko and by her only brother George. A celebration of Marys life will be held Tuesday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the East Braintree Evangelical Community Free Church with Pastor Jerry Spoor officiating. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Prawda, MB. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marys memory to the East Braintree Church or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
