CHASE ELIZABETH TESSER (nee BELBAS) After a courageous battle for survival, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of our little peanut - Chase Elizabeth, on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the age of 33 days. Chase passed away peacefully in the NICU at Winnipeg Childrens Hospital, while in the loving arms of Mommy and Daddy who didnt want to let her go. Left behind are her sister Taylor Kjartanson and brother Brody Kjartanson, who have been amazing during this ordeal and will forever miss their baby sister. Chase is also survived by grandparents, Gerry and Bob Belbas, Nino Tesser and Jill Francis, and Marion Tesser and Simon Rich; aunts, uncles and cousins; Leanne, Sam, Vanessa, Tanner and Cody McLean, Ryan and Leslie Belbas, Dean Tesser, Linda Tesser and Melissa Kubinack. We invite all to attend an open service which will be performed by Dr. Brian Brglez at the First Alliance Church, 620 Oxbow Bend Rd., southwest corner of Portage Avenue and Perimeter Highway on Tuesday, August 3, at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Paradise Restaurant starting at 3:30 p.m. We could never say thank you enough to the nursing staff of the NICU who tirelessly cared for Chase and offered so much support to us and often a shoulder to cry on. To our Charge Nurse Deb for putting a smile on our face even when all hope was lost. To Dr. Shamila, Dr. Gnysh and especially Dr. Chiew who did everything possible to save our little girl and sat with us to the end. And finally to Nurse Cheryl, who was like an angel watching over Chase before, during and after; making sure everything was just perfect when it was time for us to leave. Thanks to Archie Patterson and his colleagues at Wojciks Funeral Chapel for taking care of the tasks that no parent ever wants to perform. And finally - thank you to our family, friends, neighbours and coworkers for all your love and support over the past 33 days. We know our Chase will be forever watching over all of you. Sincerely Lynn Kjartanson and Michael Tesser. To our Peanut (Mommys version) Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die, before I wake, Please let mine be the last one you take. Have a good sleep my baby girl. Well see you soon. WOJCIKS ALL BELIEFS & FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
