NELLIE BACCUS (nee KUZYK) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Nellie Baccus at Seven Oaks Hospital on Sunday, August 1, 2004. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Lorette (Tom) Hall and children Mark (Chrissy) and Bruce; Marianne (Jay) Booker; all from British Columbia; Lorraine (Scotty) Mitchell and children Brenda Guay, Michael (Darlene) and Cory (David) Cooley; all from Ontario; Geraldine (Ed) Kulbaba and children Sherri (Marc) Pelletier and Linda (Dave) Storochuk; John and his daughter Alissa; Robert (Jo-Anne) and children Nicole (Kevin) Stoddart and Grant (Claudia) Armand (Judy) and children Darren and Jodene; as well as 11 great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Brandon Hall; Dustin and Derrick Storoschuk; Nicholas and Gabrielle Pelletier; Samantha Stoddart; Brandon Guay and Kelly Cooley. Nellie is also survived by her sisters, Lena Baccus, Mary Kolebaba and Sally (Jim) Holden; brothers, Mickey (Nancy) Kuzyk and Wally (Mona) Sicinski. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1992. She was born in Shoal Lake, MB on December 14, 1913. She married Henry in 1936 in Bruxelles, MB, where they farmed and raised a family. In 1953 they moved to Killarney, MB and farmed until 1958 before going to Winnipeg. Nellie enjoyed gardening, knitting, bowling (5 pin and lawn), crossword puzzles and playing bingo. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Nellie spent her last three years at Maples Personal Care Home. Many thanks go to all staff who provided care during her stay. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden with reception to follow. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or Welcome Home, 188 Euclid Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2W 2X4.
