JULIE HOLMAN Surrounded by her family, Julie died peacefully at home as she wished. Caring wife and homemaker to Ted for 52 years. Ever supportive and proud of her four children and their families, Ken and Kathryn Holman, Cathy and Bob Tune, Nancy and Ian Lee and Diane and Mark Prole. Special Grandma to Kaitlyn and George Alexander, Kim and Scott, Matt and Allison and Connor and Sydney. Born on December 3, 1930 in Fort Frances, ON, Julie trained to be a registered nurse at St. Boniface Hospital in Manitoba. She worked for four years at the Lockwood Clinic in Toronto. After raising her family, she returned to work in 1979 in Desktop Publishing at McGraw Hill. Julie retired in 1995 but continued working with Ted in their company, Dart C.P. Services as the company secretary. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd. (between Eglinton and St. Clair Avenue East), Scarborough, on Wednesday, August 4 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Bendale Room of the funeral home on Thursday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. with family visiting one hour prior to the service. Following the service, friends are invited to the family home for a time of fellowship and refreshment. The family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the Presidents Choice Childrens Charity (1-866-996-9918), in lieu of flowers. "We love you, Grandma"
