Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN CATON Eileen Caton died Friday, July 30, 2004 in Chandler, Arizona following a lengthy illness at the age of 80. She was born June 10, 1924 in Mountmellick, Ireland to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Corcoran) Laffey. She later became a naturalized citizen of Canada. Eileen was a registered nurse throughout her working life and moved to Arizona in 1975 where she worked at Chandler Community Hospital, retiring from Chandler Regional Hospital in 1989. She was an active member of San Marcos Golf Club, and volunteered at Chandlers St. Vincent de Paul Society and was an avid bridge player. Eileen is survived by her daughters, Mary Caton of Chandler, Jo Davis (Conrad) of Winnipeg, Canada, Norah Caton of Chandler; grandchildren, Michael Maroe, James Maroe, Claire Davis and Ethan Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1990. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at The Chapel of Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr. in Chandler with the Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 5 at St. Marys Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St. in Chandler. Contributions to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Box 21008, 33-3900 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3R 3R2, have been suggested by her family.
