I knew very little of my grandpa but I do remember some things from my teen years that he was a nice man to me and as a little girl I sat on his knee and listened to him tell me stories. I did not see him much in my youth as I was not living in Winnipeg where he was. My sister got to know him more than me in his downward decline in life. I will miss not knowing him as well as she but I listen to the stories of him and they make me smile. - Posted by: Michele Yvette Friesen (grand daughter) on: Mar 30, 2012
