ALEXANDER RUNOLFSON Peacefully on July 30, 2004 at his home, Alexander Runolfson passed away. Alex was born on October 17, 1927 in Lundar, MB, and lived all his life in the Lundar area. He farmed for many years with his brother Steve. When they retired from the farm he worked with Deerhorn Builders and at the Swancreek Fish Hatchery. Alex enjoyed his retirement years. He filled his time with family and friends, trips to the coffee shop and yard and auction sales. Alex was predeceased by his parents, Sigurbjorn and Maria; his brother Barney; and his sister Josie. He is survived by his brothers, Steve (Ethel) and Pall (Verna) brother-in-law Dennis; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. According to Alexs wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to family illness, a graveside service for family and friends will be announced at later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a donation can be made to the charity of ones choice.
