WILLIAM STEWART KIDD William Stewart Kidd died on July 25, 2004 at Beausejour Hospital. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his wife Peggy; his children, Sharel (Jean Paul), Jim (Heather), Bob and Paulette (Larry) his grandchildren, Robbie, Jason, Joelle and Ben; his sisters and brother, Isabel, Jean, Marion, Edith, Lois, Jim (Gene) and brother-in-law Gary; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret; his brother John and his sister Marge. Stewart was born in Wapella, SK, March 21, 1923 and grew up and farmed in the Brookside district until 1976. After selling the farm, he worked as a carpenter in Moosomin and later Winnipeg until retiring on an acreage east of Anola, MB in 1995. Stewart had an extraordinarily positive attitude and a great sense of humour. He has left a legacy of great honesty, loyalty, hard work and love for his family. His strength of character and giving will be remembered and missed by all that were fortunate to have known him. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, SK. Interment will be held at a future date in a family chosen cemetary. Flowers are gratefully declined. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in Stewarts name to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation.
