JEAN LUKIE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jean Lukie passed away on July 29, 2004 in Saskatoon during her 90th year. Born in Manitoba, she lived almost all of her life in Winnipeg. Jean was predeceased by her parents, her sister and her brother. She married Edward Lukie in 1939 and they celebrated 59 years together until his death in 1998. Jean was an enthusiastic and skilled five-pin bowler. Remarkably, she remained active in league bowling up to her 89th year. In 1999, she moved to Saskatoon to be closer to her family. Jean is survived by her son Bryan and his wife Patricia; grandson Craig, his wife Donamarie and their children Anika and Simon; grandson Chris, his wife Renee and their children Mikaela and Erik; and grandson Chad.
