WALTER MANDRICK Peacefully after a brief illness, Walter passed away on August 4, 2004 at the age of 84. Walter is survived and will be missed by his daughter Gwen Urbanoski (Richard) and family of Winnipeg, and is also survived by his daughter Susan Cowan of Calgary; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, David and Tamara; his great-grandchildren, Natasha and Hayden; brother Danny of Winnipeg, and many nieces and nephews, especially Diane McArthur; also special friends Ted and Kay Buchamer of Vancouver. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital for making Walters last days as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Cremation has taken place. At Walters request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Society, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg R3C 0S6.
