Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUIGINO (GINO) SACCO It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest husband, father and nonno Luigino Sacco on August 3, 2004. Luigino was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Rosa Sacco and Pasquale and Emilia Puteri. Luigino leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Teresina of 33 years; Antonio (Michelle), Rosa (Giuseppe), Ida and G. Battista. He also leaves behind his three grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart, Luigino Nicholas (Gino), Giovanna Emilia (Gia) and Isabella Maria (Bella). Fratelli Giuseppe (Domenica), Battista (Elisa), Domenico (Maria), Sorelle Carmela (Matteo), Ida (Luigi), Antonietta (Giovanni) Brothers-in-law, Pasqualino (Anna-Maria), Carmine (Maria), Francesco (Saveria) sisters-in-law, Elisa (Guido), Berardina (Emmanuele), Elena (Franco) and many numerous nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Italy and The United States. Dad was born in San Mango DAquino Italy on November 7, 1942 he immigrated to Canada in 1965 where he always worked hard to take care of his family. He took pride in everything that his family accomplished. He also took pride in his second job of babysitting his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his great smile, big heart of gold and his actions that spoke louder than words. He was a man who did not use the word no, it was always yes, OK. Dad always had a nickname for everyone that he met, his nickname to all was known as Smiley. He will be missed by all of those who knew him. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 6 between 7:30 and 9:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at the Waverly Memorial Garden 1501 Waverly St. Pallbearers Carmine Puteri, Tony Sacco (Dom), Pino Sacco, Joey Sacco, Saverio Colosimo, Domenico Pellegrino, Dean Fiorentino, Clemente Adamo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 200 - 6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Riposa in Pace Papa.
