TINA FUNK 1930 - 2004 Quietly and with very little warning Tina passed away on Tuesday, August 3 at St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her side. She leaves to mourn her husband John (they just celebrated their 53rd anniversary) son Leslie (Karen) four grandchildren, Leanne (Peter), Kevin, Susan and Mitchell; and one great-grandson. She is also survived by six sisters; four brothers; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and their families. She was predeceased by two brothers; one sister and her parents, Cornie T. and Aganetha Friesen. She will be greatly missed by her entire family, friends and everyone who knew her. Tina loved to cook and enjoyed her yard and garden. She provided us a great example of life to follow. The family expresses sincere gratitude for all the loving care by the St. Boniface Hospital staff. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach on Friday, August 6 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Prairie Grove Fellowship Chapel Missions, Box 2, Group 20, RR2, Lorette, MB R0A 0Y0.
