CATHERINE NORMAND (nee HAAS) Peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 5, 2004, Catherine passed away at Tache Nursing Centre at the age of 88 years. Mom will be sadly missed by her children, Leona, Rosalie (Cal), Ken (Bonnie) and Rick; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister Clara, and one brother Alfred (Inga). Catherine was predeceased by her husband Victor in 1996. We wish to thank the staff at Tache Nursing Centre fifth floor for their loving care over the years. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gerard Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster St. with Rev. Fr. Pierre Wood presiding. A public viewing will take place between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
