Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXIS EDOUARD GENDRON November 30, 1918 - August 6, 2004 On Friday, August 6, 2004 at St. Boniface Hospital, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully during his afternoon nap. He leaves behind his wife, Blanche (Poiron) of 59 years; his sons, Ronald and Shirley, and their children, Anita (Keith), Christine (Peter) and great-grandchild Landen, Chantal; and Gerald; his daughters, Simone and Claude Nicolas, and their children, Joel, Patricia and Julie; and Marie-Anne and Gary Shewchuk, and their children, Alex, Melanie, Meghan and Adam. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Rose-Anna and Arthur Gendron, and by his sister Amy Spiess. Dad enjoyed country life, but his health brought him to live in the city. He worked at Empire Sash & Door for many years and as well at St. Boniface Hospital. Thanks to all of you who visited Dad in the hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Smith, Dr. Silverman, Dr. Francois, the staff of 6E and chaplain Timothy Fenlon. Merci beaucoup Mme Tarko pour votre amitie envers notre pere. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Cathedral (190 avenue de la Cathedrale - St. Boniface) with viewing taking place one half hour prior to the mass. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
