WANDA LUBINSKI (nee BIJAK) Peacefully, on Sunday, August 8, 2004, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Wanda passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her children, Krystyna, Robert (Kay) and Gloria (Jarek) six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Wanda was predeceased by her husband Jan in February 2000. In 1925, Wanda was born in Czeladz, Poland, to Jan and Stanislawa Bijak. Wanda and Jan were married in 1946 and immigrated to Canada in 1960 with their two children, Krystyna and Robert and then their third child, Gloria was born. She was a tremendous cook and enjoyed working in her garden. In accordance with Wandas wishes and with prayers from Fr. Kazimierz of the Holy Ghost Parish, she was laid to rest with her dear husband Jan. Special thanks to Dr. Lerner, Dr. Kreml, the staff of the fifth floor and ICU for their kindness and compassion towards Mom and to her family to the end. Special thanks to her "angels," Sharon and Rena, for their years of dedication; as well, many thanks to all her friends who comforted her through her many illnesses and are now comforting her family. Our family also wishes to thank Wojciks Funeral Chapel for their guidance and professionalism in making the arrangements.
