THERESE ST. PIERRE (nee LANTHIER) August 8, 2004 Peacefully, following a lengthy illness our beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend Therese passed away at Centre Tache. Therese was predeceased by her husband Eugene; her father Joseph and her mother Lea (nee Mondor) sister Lucille (Lanthier) brothers-in-law, Aime (St-Pierre) and Mathias (Richard). She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Rita (Fernand) Trudeau, Lilianne (Roger) Millier; sister-in-law Alma (Richard) brother-in-law Leo (Lorraine) St. Pierre. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Therese demonstrated exemplary courage throughout her prolonged illness. An artistic person, she loved to work on embroidery, oil painting, sewing and upholstering. Her culinary art will be remembered through her tasteful "tourtieres" at Christmas time. She was a self-made woman with a flair for business. Her resourcefulness was evident in all the endeavours she undertook. She worked many years as a salesperson at Eatons in both the cities of Winnipeg and Vancouver, and later, in a boutique in St. Vital. Throughout her life she maintained a strong devotion to the Virgin Mary and her patron saint, Sainte Therese. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church, 289 Dussault Ave., preceded by the viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
